  • A tough, durable and extremely stable product using some of the worlds hardest timbers and a premium uv cured, scratch resistant acrylic coating system. The 4mm thick hardwood top layer can also be re-sanded, just like a traditional floor.

  • Silkwood comes in 3 width styles: 80mm, 133mm and 166mm styled to suit every room.
  • Silkwood is also available in two grades:
  • “Australiana” grade showcases the subtle feature of the native Australian hardwoods. Alternatively, the natural grade offers a rustic aged appearance, with a high level of natural timber characteristics e.g gum veins and insect trails.

  • There are two main types of installation for your Silkwood Engineered Floor, it can be stuck down directly to the subfloor for a more solid feel underfoot or “floated” over an underlay which also provides good sound insulation.
  • Also, make sure you budget for floor preparation, underlay, trims and wastage when cutting around doors.
