CHOOSING TIMBER FLOORING IS SO SIMPLE
To help you create the perfect timber floors for your needs, we have put together a few tips for you to consider:
STYLE AND LOOK THAT BEST SUITS YOUR HOME
- Life isn’t black and white, and neither are Silkwood floors. Take your pick from our 11 unique Australian species with colours ranging from rich reds to deep browns and lighter shades to suit every room and décor.
- Silkwood comes in 3 width styles: 80mm, 133mm and 166mm styled to suit every room.
- Silkwood is also available in two grades:
- “Australiana” grade showcases the subtle feature of the native Australian hardwoods. Alternatively, the natural grade offers a rustic aged appearance, with a high level of natural timber characteristics e.g gum veins and insect trails.
BEAUTIFUL FLOORBOARDS DESERVE A PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION
- You are now happy with your chosen look, but how do you ensure you are still smiles once the installation is done and dusted? Here are a few key points to consider.
- Installing Silkwood can be quick and simple, but we recommend you use a professional timber flooring installer.
- There are two main types of installation for your Silkwood Engineered Floor, it can be stuck down directly to the subfloor for a more solid feel underfoot or “floated” over an underlay which also provides good sound insulation.
- Also, make sure you budget for floor preparation, underlay, trims and wastage when cutting around doors.
